Frequently asked questions.
What types of appliances do you repair?
We repair a wide range of domestic appliances, including both built-in and freestanding models. This includes;
Washing machines
Dishwashers
Cookers / Ovens
Refrigeration (under counter fridges , freezers and taller fridge/freezers)
Tumble dryers.
Unfortunately we do not repair small household appliances such as kettles, irons or microwaves. However, we do stock and sell a variety of these smaller items so please feel free to come into the shop and browse.
What if my appliance can’t be repaired?
If our engineer has inspected your appliance and determined that it’s either beyond repair or not economically viable to fix, don’t worry - we stock a wide range of brand new appliances to suit all budgets and needs. We do have a call out fee for the initial visit, however if you choose to purchase a new appliance from us, we’ll waive the original call-out fee. (Please note that this policy may vary slightly depending on your location.)
Our sales team are highly experienced and knowledgeable. In many cases, they can get a good idea of the issue over the phone from your description. If it sounds like your appliance may not be worth repairing, we can still get you booked in with the aim to repair the machine, but we can arrange for us to put a new machine on the van just in case. This means that if a replacement is needed, we can get you back up and running the same day. Many of our customers love this option for its speed and convenience.
How long do repairs usually take?
Every repair is different, but in general our engineer will be with you anywhere from 30 minutes up to 2 hours depending on the type and complexity of the issue. We carry a large range of common parts on our engineers’ van, which means we can often complete the repair during the first visit. However, in some cases parts may need to be ordered. If this happens, we will arrange a return visit as soon as the part arrives with us. We always aim to complete your repairs as quickly as possible as we understand how frustrating it is to be without your appliance.
